Migrating to CHAIR

Switching from Timely

Two exports from Timely get you set up: your clients and your services. Some platforms let you download directly. Others route the request through their support team and can take a working day to arrive. Either way, the steps below are the current path.

Export your clients

Names, emails, phone numbers. CHAIR will read the file you download.

  1. Sign in to Timely on desktop

    The full data export is requested through Timely's help center, not from inside the app.

  2. Submit the data export request

    Visit help.gettimely.com, search for "Request a data export", and submit the form. Allow up to 48 hours for Timely to prepare the file.

  3. Download via the secure link

    Timely emails you a link to their data-sharing site. Click "Send code", enter the 15-minute verification code, then download. The export covers clients (with reward points), appointments, services, client notes, products, and product purchases.

  4. Need it faster? Use Reports instead

    For a quick partial snapshot, open Reports, then Client list or Client Overview, and export as CSV or Excel. This is self-serve but limited to whatever the report includes.

Bring your services across

Service names, prices, and durations.

  1. Option A: Request the full data export

    The same help-center request above includes services in the bundle. Best if you have many services and want a clean structured file.

  2. Option B: Use the Services report

    Open Reports, then Services, then Export. Self-serve, downloads immediately as CSV or Excel. Best if you want it right now and have a manageable number of services.

Heads up: Timely no longer offers a self-serve Setup, Data, Exports menu. The full data export goes through their support flow with a 48-hour SLA. The Reports route is self-serve but partial.
