Migrating to CHAIR

Switching from Fresha

Two exports from Fresha get you set up: your clients and your services. Some platforms let you download directly. Others route the request through their support team and can take a working day to arrive. Either way, the steps below are the current path.

Export your clients

Names, emails, phone numbers. CHAIR will read the file you download.

  1. Sign in to Fresha on desktop

    The export option lives in the web app. The mobile app does not have it.

  2. Open Clients

    In the left sidebar, click Clients, then open the Clients list view.

  3. Click Options, then Export

    The Options button sits at the top right of the Clients list. Choose Export, then pick CSV or Excel.

  4. Save the file

    Keep it somewhere you can find it. You will upload this into CHAIR next.

Bring your services across

Service names, prices, and durations.

  1. Open Catalog, then Service menu

    From the main menu on desktop.

  2. Click Options at the top right

    The same pattern as the Clients export.

  3. Export as CSV, Excel, or PDF

    CSV or Excel imports cleanly into CHAIR. PDF is a useful backup for your records.

Heads up: Fresha's client export includes first name, last name, mobile, email, and notes. Payment data is encrypted and excluded. If you have staff accounts, the "Can download clients" permission must be enabled for the staff member doing the export.
